Batik Air and Lion Air Group flights are smoke-free flights including electronic cigarettes (electric), so to maintain the issuance, safety and security of your flight, smoking is prohibited on the plane during the flight, because it can be subject to imprisonment according to Law no. 1 of 2009 concerning Aviation Article 412:
- Everyone on an airplane during a flight commits an act that can endanger the security and safety of the flight, as referred to in Article 54 letter a, shall be punished with imprisonment for a maximum of 2 years or a fine of a maximum of RP 5,000,000.00 (five hundred million rupiahs).
- Every person on an airplane during a flight who commits an act that violates the rules of flight, as referred to in article 54 letter b, shall be punished with imprisonment for a maximum of 1 year or a fine of a maximum of RP 100,000,000.00 (one hundred million rupiahs).
