Dear customers of Batik Air,

Here we convey information regarding the requirements for prospective Batik Air passengers who are pregnant and want to fly using Batik Air flights. They must meet the following requirements:

1. For the sake of flight safety and comfort, Batik Air passengers who are pregnant are obliged to notify the check-in counter staff of the condition of their pregnancy when reporting at the check-in counter.
2. All expectant Mothers are required to sign form of Indemnity (FOI) and A Doctor’s certificate that confirms the expectant mother is fit to travel on air transport is required to be produced at the point of check-in
3. Uncomplicated single pregnancy: Under 35 week
   1. Form of Indemnity (FOI) shall be completed.
   2. Provide a medical certificate, which states:
      1. healthy to travel by airplane.
      2. Number of weeks of pregnancy
      3. Estimated date of delivery
      4. The certificate's issue date must be no more than seven (7) days after the initial flight.
4. Uncomplicated multiple pregnancy: Under 32 weeks
   1. Form of Indemnity (FOI) shall be completed.
   2. Provide a medical certificate, which states:
      1. healthy to travel by airplane.
      2. Number of weeks of pregnancy
      3. Estimated date of delivery
      4. The certificate's issue date must be no more than seven (7) days after the initial flight.
5. An Uncomplicated single pregnancy Above 35 weeks Unaccepted to onboard
6. An Uncomplicated multiple pregnancy Above 32 weeks Unaccepted to onboard
7. All stages of complicated pregnancy Unaccepted to onboard

Note: 

1. Complicated pregnancy: A pregnancy is considered high-risk when there are potential complications that could affect the mother, the baby, or both 
2. Uncomplicated pregnancy: A normotensive pregnancy who has no experience medical complication during the pregnancy. 
3. Pregnant mother traveling alone is not permitted to carry infants unless accompanied by other adult passengers.
