SE Satgas COVID - 19 No. 24 2022 Domestic Travel Provisions During a Pandemic & SE Ministry Of Transportation Republic Of Indonesia No. 82 2022


Established and applicable: August 29th, 2022 - until further notification


Domestic Traveler (PPDN) is a person who travel from one area to another based on provincial/district/city administrative boundaries using private and public transportation modes, both land, railway, sea, river, lake, crossing and air.


Terms and Conditions for Domestic Traveler (PPDN) :


 A. Valued Customers aged 18 years old and above:

  • Valued Customers who have received 3rd dose of vaccination (booster) are not required to show a negative result of the Covid Test and can travel by implementing strict health protocols.
  • Valued Customers who have just received 2nd & the 1st dose of vaccination are not allowed to travel
  • Valued Customers who are foreigners (WNA) who come from overseas trips and it is mandatory to have the 2nd dose of vaccination is not required to show a negative result of the Covid Test and can travel by implementing strict health protocols.


B. Valued Customers aged 6 - 17 years old:

  • Valued Customers aged 6 - 17 years old who have received 2nd dose of vaccination are not required to show a negative result of the Covid Test and can travel by implementing strict health protocols.
  • Valued Customers aged 6 - 17 years old who have received 1st dose of vaccination are not allowed to travel
  • Valued Customers aged 6 -17 years old  come from an overseas trip exempt from mandatory vaccination 


C. Valued Customers under 6 years old:

  • Children under the age of 6 years old are exempt from vaccination provisions. They are not required to show negative RT-PCR or RDT-ANTIGEN results, travel with travel assistance and apply strict health protocols.


D.  Special Health Conditions (Comorbid):

  • Valued Customers with particular health conditions or Comorbid diseases that prevent them from receiving vaccinations must show a Negative  RT-PCR result within 3x24 hours. They must attach a doctor's statement from a Government Hospital  (the validity period of the doctor's statement is 7 days from the issuance of the letter) stating that the Customer has not or is unable to take the COVID-19 Vaccination.


Notes :

  1. Required to use the PeduliLindungi application
  2. Negative RT-PCR results are calculated from the sampling
  3. Required to show the vaccination certificate
  4. Doctor's statement from a Government Hospital  (the validity period of the doctor's statement is 7 days from the issuance of the letter) stating that the Customer has not or is unable to take the COVID-19 Vaccination

Circular of the Task Force for Handling COVID-19 Number 23 of 2022 and Circular Letter of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 77 of 2022 concerning Provisions for Domestic Travel during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID19) Pandemic Period are revoked and declared no longer valid.

Air Travel Appea
1. Prepare and fulfill health documents according to applicable requirements.    
2. Arrive early at the departure airport, to minimize queues.    
3. Inform officers on the ground if you are pregnant, sick or have special conditions that can endanger yourself and disturb the comfort of other passengers while traveling.    
4. Download Lion Air's mobile apps, Batik Air by taking advantage of the online check-in feature.        
A. Passengers without checked baggage can go straight to the waiting room.        
B. For passengers carrying checked baggage, they are required to report to the Lion Air Group check-in counter specifically for online check-in passengers.    
5. For the convenience of passengers, the check-in clerk will weigh the baggage at the check-in counter to determine whether the baggage meets the requirements. If it exceeds 20 Kg, passengers will be charged an additional fee according to Lion Air Group rules so that baggage can be transported as checked baggage.    
6. Passengers are not allowed to carry dangerous goods.    
7. When at the check-in counter, please ensure that the baggage is specially marked (tagged) according to the flight details and the correct destination. The baggage receipt and checked baggage numbers must be the same.    
8. Please pay attention to the conditions:        
A. The check-in counter system closes 30 minutes before departure        
B. The waiting room system closes 10 minutes before departure   
9.  Download and fill in the conditions in the PeduliLindungi application    
10. All flight crew and passengers must wear masks, and maintain cleanliness on the aircraft. In addition, prepare spare masks and hand sanitizer.

Use of mobile phones and other electronic devices, namely:
1. Do not carry electronic devices that emit steam or smoke.    
2. It is prohibited to bring Apple laptops of the 15-inch MacBook Pro type produced in 2015 which were marketed from September 2015 to February 2017 as checked baggage and cargo. MacBook Pro (Retina 15-Inchi) product produced in 2015 which was marketed from September 2015 to February 2017.    
3. According to the regulations, the battery charger (powerbank) has a power capacity of:     
A. a maximum of 100 Wh or 20,000 mAh may only be brought into the cabin and is prohibited from being included in checked/checked baggage.    
B. 100-160 Wh or 20,000-32,000 mAh must be approved by Lion Air.    
C. over 160 Wh are prohibited from boarding the aircraft.     
4. Not used during aircraft taking off, landing or moving on aprons, taxiways and runways.    
5. Not used in aisles, emergency window seats and exits on aircraft.    
6. Do not cause damage to facilities or cause injury to yourself, other passengers and crew on board the aircraft.   
7.  Do not disturb the comfort of other passengers, for example: blocking the distance to sit in the front of the seat.
